3.3.3 Features and Fixes
This update improves Meridian's compatability with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
• Fixed a latent Meridian bug, uncovered by a change in Leopard,
that sometimes caused a crash when alarms were read in from the preferences
file at startup time. That same bug could cause a crash or less serious
misbehavior when editing the date of a one-time alarm.
• Worked around changes to Leopard's time zone set, which is much more
limited than previous systems. When Meridian encounters a stored time zone
that is no longer available, it does its best to convert that time zone to
the proper Leopard alternative.
• Sometimes Leopard offers a local time zone that is not part of its new
time zone set. Sometime Leopard approves of an older time zone that is not
part of its new time zone set. In those cases, Meridian uses that time zone
for calculations, but that zone will not be displayed in the time zone list
in the preferences panel.
